Opening a Real Estate firm in 1975 in the Dallas, Texas area Steve found answering service providers lacked the personal touch and quality assurance needed to handle after hour calls. He investigated the possibilities of opening an answering service and with the help of two friends in the business, Phonefare / AnswerFirst took the first call on February 9, 1976. In a few short years it was apparent that this would become his primary business.
Now, a new millennium has arrived and we march into it with a very bright future. Over the past 7 years, our equipment has been enhanced to include the best in the business. We began to operate out of our very own 6,000 square foot facility in the summer of 2001. We have evolved from the neighborhood telephone answering service into a nationwide call center.
